The Challenge
Many internal corporate websites run on Microsoft Sharepoint. This enables quick access to the enterprise tools used most and remove the requirement to hire web designers to maintain internal content. Without at least an initial design consultation, determining the right content and the right timing, many of these sites become an ocean of links and fall short of their goal of educating their audience.
Overview
Tasked as a sole contributor, I worked with the existing communications team to understand their goals around their content roadmap, audience and calendar and used my existing understanding of the target personas and overall goals connected to transformation and awareness to better format, label and present the content using existing technology.
